Privacy Policy for Cult of PiN
Last Updated: 11/01/2026
1. Introduction
I value your privacy and believe in being transparent about how your data is handled while you play. This policy explains what information is collected and how I use it to make the game better.
2. Information I Collect
I use a small number of Unity Game Services to power features in the game, so some data is collected automatically during gameplay:
Unity Analytics: I collect "Usage Data" to understand how players interact with the game. This includes things like how long you play, which Tables you complete, and technical info like your device model and operating system.
Unity Leaderboards: If you submit a score, I collect your Username (the nickname you choose) and your High Scores so I can display your ranking to you and other players.
IP Addresses: These are collected by Unity to help me see regional information on where players are located (at a country or city level) for statistical purposes.
3. How I Use Your Data
I use this information for two reasons:
To Improve the Game: Analytics help me balance the game, for example by seeing which Gylphs aren’t being chosen by players or if nobody is able to complete a Table. I can also see if crashes are happening on specific devices or operating systems. These events and similar allow me to build a better, more enjoyable experience by focussing on the parts of the game that need it most.
Competitive Play: The Leaderboards allow me to provide a global ranking system so you can see how your scores on each Table compare to others.
4. Third-Party Services
Cult of PiN was created using the Unity Engine. Unity acts as the data processor for the analytics and leaderboard features, and may collect data as described in their own privacy policy, which you can review here: Unity Privacy Policy
5. Children’s Privacy
My game is not intended for children under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe I have accidentally collected such data, please contact me at the email below so I can delete it.
6. Your Rights and Data Deletion
I only keep your data for as long as it’s needed to keep the leaderboards running and the game stable.
Access & Deletion: If you would like me to delete your leaderboard entries or your associated analytics ID, please reach out to me.
Opt-Out: You can opt-out of data collection at any time by navigating to the Settings -> Gameplay section and unchecking the Send Anonymous Data checkbox.
7. Contact Me
